To tell the truth, the muffins did taste better than the list of ingredients sounded, but I wouldn't say that those gooey little hunks of blue tasted exactly like berries either.
I pondered as I chewed--If I were a muffin, what would be my flavor? How yummy would I be? And if I were consumed, would I be wholesome and healthful? I guess it would all depend on my ingredients would it not?
So I ask myself, are my ingredients genuine? If I were pulled apart to reveal the tender part of me that is beneath the crust, would you be able to find real fruit, full of sweetness, goodness, nutrition, and flavor? Or would you find some artificially colored and artificially flavored gooey stuff?
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
